Patient/Survivor membership is open to individuals who are currently receiving or are recovering from medical care treatment for cancer or non-cancer related conditions, are eligible.
Non-Academic Healthcare Professionals membership is open to physicians, nurses, dieticians who are employed in the public sector but not affiliated with a university or academic health or medical organization, are eligible.
Academic Faculty/Non-Profit membership is open to individuals who maintain an academic faculty appointment or honorary appointment at any rank and who contribute to research or administration in an educational capacity, are eligible. Employees of a non-profit, charitable organization are eligible.
Postdoctoral Fellow/Resident membership is open to academic postdoctoral fellows and post-graduate residents who are involved in research or clinical duties in an academic setting, are eligible.
Professional Student membership is open to individuals who maintain a bachelor’s or master’s degree and who are currently enrolled in an academic institution as a graduate student or medical student, are eligible.
Undergraduate Student membership is open to individuals who are currently enrolled in an academic institution and performing studies with the goal of achieving a bachelor’s degree, are eligible.
Industry membership is open to individuals who are employees in a for profit company that may or may not be related to biomedical research, are eligible. This includes employees with honorary or joint appointments at an academic institution.
Research/Laboratory Technician membership is open to individuals employed in an academic institution and performing research in a laboratory setting related to biomedical science, are eligible.
Nurse Specialist membership is open to individuals who maintain a bachelor’s degree and nursing license and currently care for patients in a clinical medical setting, are eligible.
Patient Advocate and Family membership is open to individuals and family members that serve on behalf of and assist patients in any capacity to improve healthcare needs, are eligible.
