The symposium will feature keynote lectures by Vickie Baracos (University of Alberta), Eduardo Bruera (MD Anderson Cancer Center), Sheng Tony Hui (Harvard University) and Stephan Herzig (Helmholtz Munich).

The programme brings together clinical and palliative medicine, cancer biology, metabolism, and immunology to discuss new perspectives on cachexia and tissue wasting.
